Group Airport Transfer in Senegal: Vans, Luggage and Booking Tips

Group airport transport is not just a question of fitting the passenger count. Suitcases, sports equipment, child seats and multiple hotel stops can change the vehicle you actually need. Planning those details before arrival is the best way to avoid splitting the group unexpectedly.

For groups with oversized luggage, send the details before confirmation.

Choose by passengers and luggage

A van may have enough passenger seats but still be tight if every traveler has a large suitcase. Send both numbers—people and bags—when booking. If the group has oversized luggage, say so explicitly rather than counting it as a normal suitcase.

One van or multiple vehicles?

Keeping everyone in one vehicle is convenient for families and teams, but two vehicles can sometimes be better when luggage volume is high or different passengers are going to different addresses. The right plan depends on the actual itinerary rather than passenger count alone.

Organize the airport meeting point

Use one lead passenger name and one reachable phone or WhatsApp number for the booking. If several people arrive on different flights, do not treat it as one simple pickup unless you have agreed how long the vehicle will wait for the later arrival.

Plan multiple hotel or villa stops

If the group is splitting between hotels, villas or neighborhoods, list the stops in advance. Extra stops can affect both journey time and price, so they should be part of the quote rather than added after the driver has departed the airport.
