24/7 arrival guide
Dakar Airport Transfer at Night: What Late Arrivals Should Know
Late-night arrivals are common at AIBD/DSS, and the main priority is making sure your transport is still available if the flight lands after midnight or is delayed. A confirmed pickup with flight monitoring removes most of that uncertainty.
Current night surcharge
5,000 XOF
The exact surcharge is confirmed in your quote before payment.
Confirm the correct calendar date
A flight scheduled for 23:40 can land after midnight, and a flight scheduled just after 00:00 belongs to the new calendar day. Enter the date shown for the actual arrival, then add the flight number so the pickup can be checked against the real flight movement.
Use flight tracking instead of guessing baggage time
The aircraft landing time is not the same as the time you reach the arrivals hall. Immigration and baggage collection can add significant time. A flight-tracked transfer is designed around the actual arrival and a defined meeting procedure rather than requiring you to predict exactly when you will exit.
Check whether a night surcharge applies
Some private transfer tariffs include an explicit night supplement. It should appear in the quote rather than being introduced only after arrival. The live panel on this page reflects the night surcharge currently stored in our public route catalog.
Keep the driver contact accessible
Save the WhatsApp or telephone contact before flying. If your phone connects slowly after landing, airport Wi-Fi or a roaming connection can still let you confirm that you are through immigration or report a baggage delay.
Reserve your late-night airport pickup
Book with your real flight number so the arrival can be monitored and the night cost is shown before confirmation.
